Kundli matching is a traditional part of marriage discussions in many Indian families. The Ashtakoota method compares eight factors (koota) between two charts — Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot and Nadi — for a total of 36 points, and astrologers also consider factors such as Mangal Dosha.

How it works
